With or Without You

 Style No. - Dress DJ15719

Bold, daring, and adventurous aren't the usual words that would describe me... unless you're talking fashion. What's the fun if you aren't taking risks? I wanted to jump ahead a few months and channeled some Halloween vibes. A bright orange dress with cut out detail paired with the perfect double breasted blazer featuring a witch at midnight print. It wouldn't be daring if I only wore it for Halloween, obviously. I put a dash of avant garde with the fascinator hat and it all comes together... whether or not you agree.

My Havana

 Style  No. - Romper NM70038G-NVMCFL

That old resort feeling... when a fedora is just oh so appropriate. This little floral romper totally exudes that vibe, and is complete with a woven belt. Honestly, who doesn't need a vacation right about now? I'm talking sandy shores, perfect salty breeze, neverending ocean view, and an umbrella topped margarita.

It's a Boho Day

 Style No. - Vest TR-52245-G | Shorts NJ-70609-G

It was the perfect sunny weekend. And I had the perfect bohemian outfit to top it off. The crochet vest with crochet detail shorts, strappy sandals, and braided hair. I'm hoping the weather stays this way because I'm dying to put summer styles into high gear. Gotta love living in California!

Vintage Romance

 Style No. - Dress BD11185B-TA/BK

This dress was so reminiscent of vintage Italian lace that I couldn't help but feel romantic wearing it. The details of the studs give it a slightly more modern feel while the fitted bottom is just the right amount of allure. Now all I need is someone to sweep me off my feet...in that candlelit dinner on a gondola type of way...

American Beauty Vibes

 Style No. DJ15820G

You know... that image with the bed of roses... There's something just so alluring about the color red. Feminine yet so bold. Right? I love that this dress totally flares out which gives it a playful vibe... and with the sheer accents, it has that slightly sexy appeal. I love the contrast with the bright magenta flowers... somehow it seemed to bring out the redness in the dress. It's a true red.

Boldness

 Style No. - Top TJ52532T | Bottom SJ80242R-RD/BL/TL

I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter~ My new colorblock skirt seemed so fitting for the occasion... with a more feminine blouse of course. But for just another work day, I wanted to spice it up with a sheer blouse that had gold beaded trim. I love the edgy and bold touch! Honestly, I seriously can't wait to ACTUALLY lay out like this in the sun...and on the beach this summer.

The Edge of Pastels

 Style No. - Top TJ-52539T | Bottoms NM-70169T

Pastels are bound to be the go-to color for Spring. So I doubled up on them. Light pink and lilac. I love the studded detail on the collar of the tank and the laser cut scalloped detail hem on the shorts. I also love the pastels don't have to be super girly, but can also have that edgy touch. With a light floral print skirt, this tank would be perfect for a bridal shower... and equally, with a printed cut off tank, these shorts were made for music festivals.

Brighten Up

Style No. - Dress DR15360B-MS

I assure you, the peplum is still alive and kicking. Whether it's with a bold mustard color, or a soft pastel, the styles are endless. I loved how this dress just hugs my body in the right way while being fresh enough for daytime. Later in the evening, I threw on my fave leather jacket and hit the town.

From All Angles

 Style No. - Top TM-51460-B | Bottoms NK-70634G

A little bit of silliness never hurt anyone! With Spring finally here, I'm even more excited to wear pastels and florals like nobody's business. I absolutely fell in love with this cropped floral blouse. I can totally picture it with loose palazzo pants, a fitted pencil skirt, or even just cut off denim shorts. We're not serious and poised all the time. It's time to have some good ol' fun...

A Little Bit of Bad

 Style No. - Top TJ52308G | Bottoms NR70592B

Aren't pastels just so becoming for Spring? I absolutely fell in love with this netted scalloped top. The design falls in all the right places, that I can just wear a bandeau underneath and feel a bit of bad girl without feeling self-conscious. Paired with a chic pair of colorblocked accent ankle pants, and I was set for the sunny weather that ensued over the weekend.

Identified

Style No. - Jacket JJ90635B | Skirt SJ80400G

Feeling a bit adventurous, I decided to mix some prints today. It reminded me of a custom spring bouquet... You don't think it would go togther, until you see it on! I am super excited for the weather warming up this week... there's more room for playing around with a Spring wardrobe that is slowly accumulating (or should I say quickly accumulating?).

Modified Transitions

Style No.  - Sweater JJ-90612-B | Top TT-1020-BA | Bottoms NJ-70606-G

I wasn't expecting to wear a tank and shorts so early in the year... but these woven high waisted shorts still have a touch of warmth to them which convinced me its okay. And while this tank has a super cozy fit, I had to wear a cardigan because it is still a bit chilly. But I love how the color is so vibrant... especially against the shorts. Can you tell I'm really trying to push the transition into Spring from my wardrobe?

Spring Please Hurry

 Style No. - Top TR-52299-AB | Skirt SM-80196-G

I'm already itching closer to wearing loose flowy florals with bright neons... like I am now. I can't wait for the weather to warm up. I love experimenting with loose fit flowy items... It usually ends up paired with a more form fitting counterpart, but this time around, it actually looked completely perfect with the breeze.

Collective Neutrals

Style No. - Jacket JJ- 90651-G | Top TK-52367-B | Bottoms NK-70622-B

Neutrals always have a way of bringing out my skin tone... especially when it's right after winter, and I feel like I need some sun. I love the way these different neutral tones totally work with each other. The lace, the woven jacket, and iridescent shorts... Neutral is gonna be my new summer white!

Hidden Glimpse

Style No. - Top TK51869B | Bottoms SR-80367B

It's those shy looks... soft glances that sometimes take your breath away, right? I love the sequins on this skirt... they seem to glisten more than sparkle... and open shoulder tops always make me feel a little bit more sexy. Is everyone as excited as me for Spring?

Southern Classic

 Style No. Top TJ-52308-G

I'm lucky to forego the freezing cold winters... I'm loving this sunny and slightly brisk weather in California. Today's slightly bohemian yet 70s vibe was the exact mood I was going for. Top it with a floppy hat and you've implemented a southern touch. I can't wait to wear some new spring styles!

Fulfilling Expectations

Style No. - Jacket JJ-90635-B | Top TJ-51333-B | Shorts NM-70066-R

It's a little over two weeks into the new year... Apparently the weather will be sunny all week. Which means I have more excuses to bare some leg...not that the cold weather really stops me anyway. I loved the brightness of this yellow pleated top. Totally feels like spring! And yes, I dared to pair it with a red blazer... But doesn't the combo actually look like it's supposed to be worn this way?

New Dimensions

Style No. - Jacket JJ-90514-B | Top TM-51380-T | Shorts NM-70066-R

Somehow, these festive colors of red, white, and blue manage to work perfectly together without looking patriotic. It has the vibe of schoolboy with just simple girly touches... I know January will probably be pretty cold... I feel like I just got excited for winter. But now I'm definitely eager for spring to draw near.

Leftover Sun

Style No. - Jacket JR90505B | Romper NJ70451G

Happy New Year! Time sure flies, doesn't it? I managed to grab some extra rays during this mid-winter season. Of course, I had to wear a suede jacket (I love the way it's tailored). The weather here is not as warm as it looks, but I'm sure it doesn't compare to some other places out there... I'm hoping for a great year. I can feel it. And a bit of optimism doesn't hurt anyone.

Break Time

Style No. - Jacket JJ90344B | Top TJ-52236-G | Bottoms NJ-70607-T

I love stepping over the boundaries sometimes... I was almost getting completely sick of the crochet shorts faze when these perfectly holey shorts came into my peripheral. With the bold move of wearing two different baby blue hues, I think I managed to pull it off. The white blouse has an unmatched cut out detail look which somehow balanced this all out. And just because it's winter break for school, I had to be on the other side of a yellow school bus. I love how I look mischievious while wearing such a soft and innocent color...

California Winter

Style No. - Top TJ-52261-B | Bottoms NJ-70629G

I'm excited to bring a little bit of spring although it seems as winter is finally bringing the cold to California. These floral pants have surprisingly been super easy to match with. From a loose fit sweater to a breezy white tank, these pants pretty much go with everything... So I'm pretty sure these will be worn a million times from now 'till summer.

No Turning Back

Style No. Dress DR-15074-G

If you haven't figured it out already, I love little cocktail dresses. This one has perfect cut outs and a belted waist. All I added were some bracelets to bring a bit of bling. I seriously can't believe the holidays are just around the corner. I barely started shopping for gifts... And half the time I want to keep things for myself.

Dawn to Dusk

Style No. - Jacket JJ90412G-RU

Who doesn't love a little bit of fur to spice up an outfit? Now that it's finally showing signs of true winter, I've been wearing this jacket on a somewhat daily basis. It isn't too over the top for daytime...and it is clearly just enough for evening. I wore it over this animal print dress, jeans with boots, a little black dress, a skirt and tights, and the list goes on an on. And of course, the compliments have been nonstop.

Don't Wait Up

Style No. - Top TL-51129B-PL | Shorts NM-70186-B

It's strange that it's almost already December... The summer sun combined with the cool breeze makes it feel like it should just be the start of Fall. Thus, I've managed to continue wearing shorts this season. Of course, they are knit and blended with blues and browns that make it totally appropriate... right? I love it with a bright colored thin knit sweater which is literally my favorite type of sweater for winter. Thin, but warm... comfy and loose fit but goes perfectly with everything. Is it too early to start thinking of New Year's Resolutions now that I've stuffed myself with too much stuffing and pumpkin pie?

Feeling Grateful

Style No. - Jacket JR-90589-G | Dress DR-15403-T

Gold sparkle on gold sparkle... It just works. I'd totally wear this outfit to a wedding, and possibly even for New Year's Eve! Although it looks very sunny, the breeze and degrees is certainly getting colder. I'm super excited to have some turkey this thursday! Stuffing and cranberry sauce... here I come!

I'll Meet You There

Style No. - Top TJ-51030-B | Shorts NJ-70092-B

It just became more apparent that the holidays are just around the corner! I'm still happy that there is some sunshine left, but it is definitely getting more chilly day by day. Sometimes, all you need is the right hat to put the final touch on an outfit. And you don't always need a beanie to keep your head warm... there are other stylish options out there! I love how this loose fit top paired with these pleated polka-dot shorts just blended so well together. And yes, with the hat...super chic. Don't you think?

Closer To Nature

Style No. - Top TS-51362-B | Bottoms NM-70174-T

It is unbelieveably still warm enough to venture out in shorts during this month of November. I love this Fall double breasted jacket... With a very light fabric, it has dolman sleeves giving it proportion variations which made for fun dress-up moments in front of the mirror... While it may appear unconventional to wear a coat with shorts, this coat is just that type, versatile. And with the ethnic printed shorts, it felt like they belonged together. The holidays are just around the corner! And I'm definitely already enjoying my eggnog lattes...

Won't You Join Me?

Style No. - DR15312

With the weather finally showing glimpses of Fall, the rooftop soiree days are also coming to an end. I must have been going home early because the slow trek down the elevator was pretty empty apart from the soft music. I loved wearing this half sleeve knit sparkle dress. It keeps you warm enough without having to wear a jacket (yes, I realize it's because I'm in California). I decided to go bare-legged because this dress isn't that short... but I'm pretty sure it'll look equally good with a pair of tights when the goosebumps are unmanageable.

Structured Paradox

Style No. - Jacket JJ90454G | Dress DJ14748

I'm a sucker for fringe. The 1920's detailing on a simple modern top usual has no limit on my budget. When I encountered this classic blue sweetheart dress with the long fringe starting at the waist, it was immediately a match. I loved wearing this tailored white blazer on top... it gave a structural feel that allowed the fringe to still flutter and show from underneath. This weekend is supposed to mimic the heat we've experienced the majority of the summer. I'm happy to wear my summer items for a bit longer.

Fiery Matador

Style No. -  Jacket JJ-90545B | Top TJ-50939T | Shorts NM-70521B

One glance at this red brocade jacket and I was sold! I've already worn it over a little black dress and decided to find a way to make it edgy and fiery while feminine at the same time. The lace detail on this blouse was the perfect canvas to bring this jacket into daywear. It totally has a matador vibe which I'm in love with right now. Definitely a statement piece.

Golden Bliss

Style No. DJ-15005-G

Featuring a golden floral brocade, I knew this dress was made for my wardrobe. It may be a little ostentatious for weddings, but perfect for holiday outings, cocktail parties, engagement dinners, and just good ol' girls night outs. Sometimes you just want to wear something other than a little black dress. And simply stated, I feel pretty in this dress. Like, good hair day and good skin day kinda pretty.

Me, Myself, and Maybe You

 Style No. - Cardigan JK-90515B | Top TJ- 50650-B | Pants NJ-70506-G

The city chic feel of these blue and yellow hues just epitomize the California ambience. From lunch appointments, to office meetings, to dinner dates, to happy hour drinks, this outfit is all-around appropriate and made for less time wasted when getting dressed in the morning. Which means more me time in the morning, and had just enough time for my coffee, toast, and eggs. Sunny-side up!

Understated

Style No. - Jacket JJ90453G | Top TJ50650B | Shorts NM70209T

While I attempted to go completely monochrome in all nude and tan hues, the pop of color was absolutely necessary. I needed something to liven up this cloudy, sit at home and drink hot tea, weather. With weather like this, you're bound to see a rainbow in California. The faux leather trim on these shorts paired perfectly with the jacket... On second thought, I'm definitely planning to go monochrome with some brownish ankle pants when the weather gets a few degrees colder. I'm still a bit hesitant to let go of summer.

The Essence of Fall

Style No. - Jacket JJ-90345-B | Top TJ-51732 | Shorts NM70256G

For some reason, Fall reminds me of the color red. Maybe it's the slow changing of all the leaves... With the cooler weather this week, I finally donned these knit shorts, and topped it off with a loose fit blazer. And nowadays, no outfit seems complete without a sheer blouse, whether worn with jeans, skirt, or shorts. As sad as I am to see the summer fade, I'm definitely excited to pull out my Fall/Winter bells and whistles. Who doesn't look chic in a good coat?

Just a Blazer

Style No. JJ-90294-G

Every girl needs a blazer. Whether for a formal event, or dressing up an otherwise bland outfit. Obviously, pairing that perfect blazer with my favorite jeans is expected. The lightness of the knit combined with the stripes made it so doable for summer... and transformed for evening without a glitch. I'll definitely be wearing it through fall without a doubt.

I'm Just Mad About Saffron

Style No. DJ-13675-B

The ideal transition from summer to fall... Or even just those slightly chilly mid-summer nights. This sweater mini dress is comfy enough and cute enough to beat everything in my closet. The stitch detailing in the back sets it apart from your typical sweater dresses...and I love that its not bulky  or cable knit, so I can  wear it now!  I can totally see myself wearing  a jewel toned chunky necklace at night, just to dress it up a little.

New Perspectives

 Style No. DK-14670-R

I love sleeves on a dress. And especially with this unique striped print, and comfy fit, this dress provides a new light on that eclectic vibe. I wore it with some lace up boots, but plan on switching it up with simple black pumps as well. There is a surge of dress-necessary events that appear to be coming up. With bridal showers, weddings, bachelorette parties, and the like, I need to stock up! Adventure is just around the corner at such events... thus increasing the need to abandon my usual  ponytail, not skip on the eyeliner, and of course, wear something that accentuates the perfect silhouette.

Nothin' On You

 Style No. DK-14702-G

I may sound like a broken record, but I wouldn't wear it unless it's perfect. This dress encompasses just that. Doesn't this image pretty much sum it all up? The mentioning of the variation of stripes and cut outs seem quite unnecessary, but makes you want to point it out regardless. This dress has been my summer uniform...literally. I feel like I've been caught wearing it a little too often...which has prompted endless combinations with different accessories.

Undeniably Irresistible

Style No. DJ-12063-T

Having that irresistible flair is undeniably one of many characteristics to describe this dress. The sweetheart neckline paired with bold print brought out a different kind of confidence... A confidence related to femininity. It doesn't involve a fitted design or sexy cut outs. Just a stylish femininity that makes this dress so appropriate for so many different situations. Considering the amount of events going on this summer, I really needed a dress like this.

Royal Flush

Style No. DJ-14734-R

The widely beloved chevron print with the sophistication of a wrap-dress... The color not only exudes chic but also brings out your eyes, regardless of the color. The weather nowadays is a complete preview of warm summer nights... which means having that lovely flush of color on your cheeks. From blushing...and the sun of course.

If Looks Could Kill

 Style No. DM-13510-B

The smoky cat-eye... the stiletto heels... killer stare. Boys, you really can't avoid taking a second glance. I love how this dress manages to create an alluring silhouette on one side, while displaying a rather feminine flutter sleeve on the other. The ruching excentuates my figure exactly the way I want it to.... if only all dresses were this versatile and wearable. Sigh.

Only Girl in the World

 Style No. NM-70364-B

It's pretty obvious that this romper is out-of-this-world fabulous. Regardless of the occasion, this baby can adapt. Its alluring enough for a night out, flirty enough for daytime. What more can you really ask for? I threw on a leather jacket for when it got colder in the evening... but at the rate of sunshine we're having right now, it's become pretty obsolete.

Pseudo Road Trip

Style No.  DM-14221-R

All it takes is a little bit of California sun to put the top down, let my hair loose, and cruise around with my cute dress and sunglasses. Literally. It's unreal that I get to live in the Golden State, and absorb all the vitamin D rays that I desire. Even just filling up on gas or stopping by the bank in a convertible is more than enough to make the rest of America believe that I'm "livin' the life." In N' Out and managing to spend 90% of the year in an alluring short dress is also a definite plus.

Scent of Romance

Style No. DJ-14450-G

Sometimes, a single glance is all it takes to get your heart beating. Summertime really brings out those lovey-dovey emotions... The warmer summer nights enable longer evenings out and don't forget that sun-kissed glow. This dress is super flattering and cute. No need to worry about eating too much at dinner AND having dessert. It is my go-to dress for that second date... and I didn't have to worry about accessorizing too much, because the lace just gave it a delicate dressy feel. I picked the red, because it was a more standout color for me, but the yellow version was also equally enticing. Additionally, I can easily wear this dress during the day with flat strappy sandals for a more daytime look. I can't wait for my summer wardrobe!
